REALLY!?!?!?
Is now REALLY the right time to start a new organization or business?
As I write this, I wonder if I shouldn't be asking myself that - truly asking, not just writing it in a blog. Not sure I really care about the answer, since CANCA.org is well under way.
But anyway, the answer to the headlining question is, in fact, YES! This is as good a time as any! As other companies continue to cut their expenses and resources in way of marketing, promotion and other creative assets, we must act quickly to take advantage of the empty fields that are left. We can share ideas and gather creative talents and assets to rebuild the economy and leave people feeling secure again.
As a young child, I always dreamed I was standing in a big, vast field looking far out into the horizon. This is how I feel today, this month. There is a big, open world out there and I am moving forward. Not sure where I am going or what might come next, but running full speed ahead...

The idea of a non-profit arts organization has been kicked around in Wake Forest for years. Our growing community has a diverse cultural landscape, a very rounded educational and creative background and a plethora of innovative ideas floating around.
With a handful of people wanting so badly to make our community a success, we will take our professional skills and experience and bring it all to the table asking others to join our cause. By involving just one person at a time, our society will experience a community come together to celebrate creativity, history, and culture.
